Hafez Abru (758-833 A.H.) was a ninth-century historian who served Amir Timur Gurkani and Shahrukh. For the first time in 816, Shahrukh commissioned him to write a book on geography. Hafez Ebro was then commissioned to write history several times. Researchers and editors who have studied his life and works have provided information about the number and names of his works that is not clear and explicit. The reason for this is, on the one hand, the fact that not all of his manuscripts have been identified, corrected, and published, and on the other hand, the large volume of his works and his method of compiling the material. In this article, the available information about his works is criticized using a descriptive-analytical method. Review and analysis of the information showed that in order to present a list of his works, they should be divided into three categories: 1- Works that he wrote from; 2- Works that are his own work; 3- Works that are a collection and include works that he wrote himself in addition to transcribed works (i.e. the previous two categories) in addition to new material. To present a list of his works, one must extract from these three categories the names of the works he authored and introduce them as works by Hafez Abro.
