The study reveals the causes and factors affecting the outbreak of war, the phenomenon of war and its consequences. The fall of the Sassanids in the Battle of Zouqar plays an important role in their subsequent defeats. Therefore, the sociological study of this failure and the subsequent failures of Iran from the Arabs, which led to the fall of the Sassanids, is significant. The strategy that the Arabs used in this war and in the shortest time to defeat the mighty Iranian army was in line with the sensitive situation of the weak armies in the asymmetrical wars against powerful armies. Techniques used by the Arabs were in line with the strategy of psychological ware, and inflicted a terrible blow on the Iranian Army and forced the Iranians to retreat. The study shows how Iranians, despite having a vast empire and resources and professional army, failed in an unequal war against an army that lacked equipment. This research, with a sociological approach, aimed at investigating the wars of Iran and Arabs, and in terms of its purpose, it is a scientific research and, in terms of the nature and method of work, is historical written in a descriptive-analytic way. جامعه‌شناسی جنگ با نگاهی موشکافانه، جنگ و عوامل ﺗﺄثیرگذار بر آن را بررسی می‌کند. این بررسی خود را در سطح علت‌ها و عوامل ﺗﺄثیرگذار بر آغاز جنگ، پدیدﮤ جنگ و پیامدهای آن نمایان می‌کند. سقوط ساسانیان در جنگ ذوقار، در شکست‌های بعدی آنها نقش مهمی داشت؛ بنابراین، بررسی جامعه‎شناختی این شکست و شکست‎های بعدی ایران از اعراب که به سقوط ساسانیان منجر شد، اهمیت چشمگیری می‌یابد. استراتژیی که اعراب در این جنگ و در فرصت اندک برای شکست سپاه قدرتمند ایران به کار بردند، منطبق بر وضع حساس ارتش‌های ضعیفی بود که در جنگ‌های نامتقارن در مقابل ارتش‌های قدرتمند قرار می‌گیرند. تاکتیک‌هایی که اعراب به کار بردند، در راستای استراتژی عملیات روانی بود و ضرﺑﮥ هولناکی بر سپاه ایران وارد کرد و ایرانیان را به عقب‌نشینی مجبور کرد. در این پژوهش، نشان داده می‌شود که چگونه ایرانیان باوجود داشتن امپراتوری وسیع و منابع و ارتش حرفه‌ای، در جنگی نابرابر در برابر نیرویی فاقد تجهیزات شکست خورد. این پژوهش با رویکردی جامعه‌شناسی، به‌دنبال بررسی جنگ‌های ایران و اعراب است و از نظر هدف، جز پژوهش‌های نظری‌ست و به‌لحاظ ماهیت و روش کار، در ردیف پژوهش‌های تاریخی قرار می‌گیرد و به روش توصیفی‌تحلیلی به نگارش در آمده است. https://jhr.ui.ac.ir/article_21698_683213e52cd1fa90567af24427cc5e56.pdf
