Qajar era is one of the considerable historical periods for dream-interpretation writing. In this period, dream-interpretations texts also contain critical, political and social contents. Among these dream-interpretation texts, Etemad Saltane’s Ecstasy, Seid Jamal-A-Din’s True Dream, Mohammad Hassane TajereKashani’s True Dream and Molla Fathalie Esfehani’s Wonderful Dream are considerable. This article aims to reveal not only the reasons of authors for choosingdream-interpretation framework but also similarities and differences ofthem based on historical researches by employing analytical – descriptive approach. The results of this study demonstrates that despite of some slight different viewpoint among authors of this kind of books, they not only had critical perspective but also endeavored to spread modern ideas by criticizing the socio-political system of that age. These authors selected dream-interpretation framework to express their critical ideas in order not to be engaged in despotic atmosphere.  خوابنامه­ها، یکی از انواع متون ادبی هستند که گاه در قالب تعبیر خواب و زمانی به صورت شرح یک خواب نگاشته شده­اند. یکی از دوره­های تاریخی در­خورتوجه از بعد خوابنامه­نویسی، عصر قاجاریه است. خوابنامه­های عصر قاجار، مضامین انتقادی، سیاسی و اجتماعی را در خود جای داده­اند. در میان این خوابنامه­ها می­توان به آثاری چون خلسه اعتماد السطنه، رؤیای صادقه­ سید جمال الدین واعظ اصفهانی، رؤیای صادقه محمد حسن تاجر کاشانی و خواب شگفت از ملافتحعلی اصفهانی اشاره کرد. مقاله­ حاضر که بر مبنای پژوهش‌های تاریخی ساماندهی شده و به شیوه توصیفی-تحلیلی به پرسش­های پژوهش که دلایل رویکرد نویسندگان به قالب خوابنامه­نویسی و وجوه اشتراک و تمایز خوابنامه­هاست، پاسخ دهد. دستاورد­های این بررسی نشان می­دهد که به رغم وجود برخی تفاوت­ها و اختلاف‌نظر­های جزئی نویسندگان خوابنامه­ها، صبغه­ انتقادی داشته و ضمن به چالش کشیدن نظم سیاسی- اجتماعی عصر خویش، مروج افکار نوگرایانه بوده­اند. این نویسندگان برای مصونیت از فضای استبدادی، نظرهای انتقادی خویش را در قالب خواب مطرح نموده­اند. https://jhr.ui.ac.ir/article_16663_baf219e1d7fc8bac5029656610c1fc32.pdf
