Thus local historians, based on their distraction on specific geographical places, have more time to look deeper into the details in different perspectives and introduce a geometrical viewpoint. Living in a certain geographical aria, gives a local historian the opportunity to obtain and record various issues; which no one else has had the chance to undertake. Therefore, local history is a broad field for different practices of mind and sight to be investigated like themes that over the decades and centuries have remained as beneficial heritage from yesterdays to the readers of today and the future. Different approaches to social, political and official circles at their local/regional level, and in general subjects on the rural and urban structure in details and the circumstances of city construction would be another range of topics for studies. This study tries to examine the following hypothesis: Qajar period is the last era in the field of traditional local historiography which has had a major variety of themes. Based on the historical sources, this article seeks to draw out the related themes and subjects and classify them for further study in the Qajar era.  مورخین محلی به دلیل محدودیت حیطه جغرافیایی حوزة تحقیقات خود، فرصت بیشتری دارند که در جزئیات دقیق شده، با بررسی همه جانبة آن، تصویری شفاف‌تر از موضوع پژوهش خویش به دست دهند. از سوی دیگر زیستن در محیط جغرافیایی تحقیق، به آنها این امکان را می‌دهد که بتوانند بر روی هر پدیده‌ای که توجه آنها را جلب می نماید، به دقت نظرافکنده، به ثبت و ضبط آن اقدام کنند. بدین سبب خاطر عرصة تاریخ محلی میدان تاخت و تاز ذهن و چشم برای شکار موضوعات گوناگون است. گاه‌این تنوع موضوعات است که به شکار مورخ محلی می‌پردازد. موضوعاتی که بعد از دهه‌ها و سده‌ها، یادگارهای سودمند و کم و بیش عینی را از دیروز در اختیار دیگران قرار می‌دهد. از جنبه‌‌های گوناگون و متنوع حیات اجتماعی، از رفت و آمد حکام و وزیران و مستوفیان محلی گرفته تا ساخت کوچه پس کوچه‌‌های شهر و روستا و آنچه در آن است. مقاله حاضر با مراجعه به منابع تاریخ محلی قاجار، که بطور عمده می‌توان گفت یکی از اعصار  شکوفایی این نوع تاریخ‌نگاری در قالب سنت پیش مدرن است، می‌کوشد تا موضوعات متنوع در این کتاب‌ها را استخراج و در طبقات مشخص برای تحقیقات بیشتر دسته‌بندی نماید. در واقع پیش فرض این مقاله این است که: دوره قاجار به عنوان آخرین مرحله رشد سنت تاریخ نگاری محلی و «دورة گذار»، نمای بسیار رنگارنگی از موضوعات این عرصه را نمایش می‌دهد. https://jhr.ui.ac.ir/article_16557_f84dc4c7fbcc6871ff17ef24dd2de139.pdf
