Sharik-b Sheikh al-Mohriwas the first revolt, with Shiīte thought, rising against the new caliphate, whom succeeded in gathering a lot of supporters around himself, including both the Arabs and the Iranians residing in that area. The main motive for them was the Abbasid’s intrigue. Their motto of "Al- Rreza men Al-i Mohammad" (to obey the descendants of Muhammad),  which showed how they meant to hand over the caliphate to the descendants of Ali. This movement was spread among the Shiītes of Tranoxiana and took over the whole area, from Forghana to Soghd and Kharazm. Later, it was repressed into failure by <em>Abu muslim</em> and his commander, Ziād b. Sālih al Khozaīi<em>. </em> <br />This paper examines the major causes of this revolt in Tranoxiana, and how its background lead to intellectual, religious and social bases. The reasons as to why people participated in this revolt, in responce to Sharik’s invitation, will also be discussed. Finally the factors contributing to the deficiencies of the sources and the outcomes of the rebels will be examined. <br />  محور بنیادین این پژوهش بر یافته‌هایی استوار است که از پاسخ به پرسش‌های به‌ دست آمده‌اند: 1. قیام شریک بن شیخ‌المهری در اثر چه عواملی پدید آمد و در پی چه اهدافی بود؟ 2. ماهیت فکری، مذهبی و اجتماعی این قیام چگونه بود؟ 3. سرنوشت این قیام چگونه رقم خورد و چرا؟<br /> این قیام، که در ماه‌های آغازینِ خلافتِ عباسی در سال 1323ﻫ.ق در ماوراء‌النهر اتفاق افتاد، نخستین قیامی بود که با صبغة شیعی خلافت نوپای عباسی را به چالش کشاند. رهبر این قیام با بهره‌گیری از زمینة مذهبی ماوراء‌النهر توانست تودة وسیعی از اعراب و ایرانیان آن سامان را گرد خویش فراهم آوَرَد؛ کسانی که از نیرنگ عباسیان در انتخاب شعار الرّضا من آل محمد، خونریزی فراوان و عدم تحویل خلافت به فرزندان علی^(ع) به خشم آمده بودند. این قیام به سرعت در میان اهالی ماوراء‌النهر گسترش یافت و با پیوستن افراد یا گروه‌هایی با انگیزه‌های اقتصادی و اجتماعی خاصّ خود، سراسر ماوراء‌النهر را از فرغانه تا سغد و خوارزم در‌برگرفت. اندک زمانی بعد، با مساعی ابومسلم و فرمانده‌اش، زیاد بن صالح خزاعی، این قیام از رسیدن به هدف ناکام ماند و سرکوب شد. در این مقال، علل بروز قیام شریک در ماوراء‌النهر و عوامل موقعیت‌ساز آن، ماهیت فکری، مذهبی و اجتماعی قیام و فرآیند تحولات آن، دلایل گسترش اولیة این قیام و پیوستن مردم به آن و سرانجام عوامل ناکامی و پیامدهای قیام بررسی و تحلیل شده است.<br />   https://jhr.ui.ac.ir/article_16529_7cdeb0e7df936e4e73559f1f70637723.pdf
